Timothy Smith, a CISA and CPA who led KPMG's San Diego IT audit practice, and Dr. Thomas Lee of VivoSecurity present a formula for estimating the probability of a third-party data breach in real-world units and argue that IT-audit-trained internal auditors are best placed to measure and escalate it.
